Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 24, 2026
CC is a Control Center utility app for Android. We use permissions only to provide the features you choose, such as showing the Control Center panel, controlling device settings, screen recording, screenshots, media controls, and app shortcuts.
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app CC, package name ai.controlcenter.easycontrol. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the developer of CC.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@quovadstudio.cc.
2. Information We Collect
Usage and Analytics Data
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve app quality. Analytics events may include app opens, permission guide interactions, settings interactions, feature button taps, screen orientation, Android SDK version, app version, build type, feature IDs, and whether a requested permission or feature action succeeded.
Crash and Diagnostics Data
We use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and stability issues. Crash reports may include app version, package name, device model, manufacturer, Android version, language, crash logs, stack traces, and custom diagnostic keys related to app state.
Anonymous Identifiers
The app creates a random installation ID and may generate an anonymous device identifier by hashing the Android ID together with the app package name and a fixed salt. We do not upload the raw Android ID. The hashed identifier is used only for analytics, crash diagnostics, and understanding repeated installs or app usage on the same device.
Feedback Data You Provide
If you send feedback from inside the app, we may receive the issue category you select, your written description, optional contact information, optional attachments, and optional diagnostics such as app version, device model, Android version, language, and time. Feedback is sent through your chosen email app.
Installed Apps and App Shortcuts
CC lets you add installed apps as shortcuts in the Control Center panel. To support this feature, the app may read installed launchable apps, app names, icons, and package names on your device. This information is processed on your device to display the app picker, save the shortcuts you choose, and open the app you tap from the Control Center.
CC does not upload the full list of installed apps. CC does not sell, share, or use the installed app list for advertising, analytics profiling, or background tracking.
3. App Permissions and Why We Need Them
- Accessibility Service: Used to show the Control Center overlay, respond to edge gestures, and perform device-wide actions such as Home, Back, recent apps, notification shade, and other system actions. We do not use Accessibility to read passwords, payment information, private messages, screen text, typed content, contacts, browsing history, or personal content. Accessibility data is not uploaded, sold, shared, or used for advertising or user profiling.
- Notification Access: Used to detect the current media session and show music title, artist, artwork, playback state, and media controls. We do not store or upload notification content for unrelated apps, and we do not use this access to collect private messages or account information.
- Modify System Settings: Used for controls such as brightness, rotation lock, and screen timeout.
- Do Not Disturb Access: Used to switch Do Not Disturb mode and sync its current state.
- Bluetooth / Nearby Devices: Used on supported Android versions to read or switch Bluetooth state.
- Microphone: Used only when you choose to record microphone audio during screen recording.
- Screen Capture / Media Projection: Used only after you actively request a screenshot or screen recording and approve the Android system prompt. Screenshot and recording files are saved locally on your device unless you choose to share them.
- Storage: Used on older Android versions to save screenshots and screen recordings to local storage.
- Phone State: Used to check SIM or mobile network state for related Control Center status display and actions. We do not read phone numbers, call logs, or SMS messages.
- Notifications: Used on Android 13 and above to show notifications for active foreground features, such as the user-enabled edge handle, screen capture, and screen recording.
- Ignore Battery Optimizations: Used only when you choose background protection, to keep the edge control entry reliably available. You can turn it off in Android system settings.
- Query All Packages / Package Visibility: Used to find installed apps and system tools that can be added to the Control Center as shortcuts or launched by built-in controls. CC cannot know in advance which apps you want to add, including OEM apps, work profile apps, regional apps, and apps installed after CC is published.
- Internet and Network State: Used for Firebase analytics, crash reporting, and basic connectivity awareness.
- Vibration: Used for optional touch feedback.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide and maintain app features you request.
- Diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
- Understand feature usage and improve the app.
- Respond to your feedback or support requests.
- Protect app reliability, security, and compatibility across Android devices.

7. Data Retention and Deletion
Local app settings, selected shortcuts, and generated media files remain on your device unless you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Feedback emails remain in the email systems used to send and receive them. Firebase analytics and crash data are retained according to Firebase settings and Google's applicable policies.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices and Rights
You can control many permissions from Android system settings. Some features may not work if related permissions are disabled. You may also clear app data or uninstall the app to remove local settings and locally saved data.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. Contact us if you want to exercise these rights.
11. Links to Other Apps and Sites
CC may open third-party apps or websites, such as email apps, browser pages, Google Play, or apps you add as shortcuts. These third parties have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.
