Assistive Touch
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
QuovadStudio ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Assistive Touch Android application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, processes, collects, uses, and shares information. If you have questions, contact us at quovad3@gmail.com.
1. Information you provide
The App does not require you to create an account. If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, message, and diagnostic details you voluntarily provide.
2. Device access and on-device processing
Assistive Touch provides quick controls and device utility features. Depending on the features you choose, the App may request access to the following device capabilities. Access is limited to providing the feature you initiate.
- Accessibility Service: used to perform clearly requested control actions and keep the floating control interface available. The App does not use Accessibility Service to read passwords, payment information, or private message content, and does not sell data obtained through this service.
- Notification access: used to display or react to notification-related controls selected by you. Notification content is processed on your device for the requested functionality.
- Installed apps and package visibility: used to let you select or launch apps from shortcuts and customized controls. The installed-app list is processed on your device.
- Screen capture and recording: used only after you start a screenshot or screen-recording feature and approve Android's system capture prompt.
- Microphone: used only when you choose to include audio in a screen recording and grant microphone permission.
- Device settings and status: used to operate controls such as brightness, sound, connectivity, notification modes, and related quick settings.
- Storage: used on supported Android versions to save screenshots or recordings you create.
Recordings, screenshots, settings, shortcuts, and customization choices remain on your device unless you choose to share them or an operating-system backup applies.
3. Analytics and crash information
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. The App creates a random installation identifier and derives an anonymous device identifier by hashing the Android ID together with App-specific values using SHA-256. The original Android ID is not transmitted. The identifiers help us distinguish installations, understand repeat usage, and investigate reliability issues.
Firebase may also process app interactions, device model, operating-system version, language, approximate region, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance information. We use this information to understand feature reliability, investigate crashes, and improve the App.
4. How information is used
- Provide features and respond to actions you request.
- Maintain security, stability, and compatibility.
- Diagnose crashes and improve performance.
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations.
5. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. Analytics and crash information may be processed by Google as our service provider through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users, or to defend legal rights.
Learn more about Google's handling of information at Google Privacy Policy and Privacy and Security in Firebase.
6. Data retention and deletion
Local App data remains on your device until you remove it through Android settings or uninstall the App. Screenshots and recordings remain until you delete them. Support emails are retained only as reasonably necessary to answer your request, maintain records, and meet legal obligations. Analytics and crash data are retained according to our Firebase settings and Google's applicable retention controls.
You may request deletion of support information associated with your email by contacting quovad3@gmail.com. Because the App does not provide user accounts, there is no separate App account to delete.
7. Your choices
You can decline or revoke permissions in Android settings. Some features will not work without the capabilities they require. You can also clear the App's storage or uninstall it to remove local settings.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
10. International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international processing.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, legal requirements, or our data practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above.
